Earnest repaint by Jack Follis at Ashby Boat Centre. Back to metal. International one pack primer, and undercoat. Top coat colours : Grey, silk and gloss - Epifanes, Red - Craftmaster Signal Red, Decks - International grey Interdeck, Blue - Masons Atlantic Blue (my 23 year old strategic reserve!) 60 grit shot blast grit as non slip additive on cants and gunwales. Microbead non slip additive in silk roof grey.

The last top rudder bearing proved a bugger to remove!
Top rudder bearing replacement. The shaft has now been sanded down and kept
greased, so it does not rust onto bearing cup.

Rear doors threshold brass plate, with bolt holes. Similar added to front doors
threshold.
Metal filler to stop water ponding behind water deflector.
Metal filler water deflector. End removed, so doors can now be removed.
Earnest stripped of hardware, ready for windows to be removed and paint
stripping.

New brass angle rear slide runners. The slide now has polypropylene side
runners.

New raw water pick up for toilet flush, added after below water standpipe inlet
was welded up, picks up water from weed hatch box.
