The River Trent above Trent Bridge in Nottingham and getting stuck on Normanton Sands in the Tidal River Trent.
Passage up the River Trent in Nottingham and the Normanton Sunken Island incident was on 18th July 2005.
After passing out of Meadow Lane Lock onto the River Trent we went upstream.

3ft 6ins.

Below Meadow Lane, we attempt access to the first lock of the Grantham Canal.
