Contrary to local advice, you can still wind a 58ft 6ins narrowboat beyond the foot bridge. We stuck stern up the shallow River Coln, until we stopped, bow came round easily
Lechlade Bridge.
Inglesham Lock, first on the Thames and Severn Canal, is in there somewhere!
Stern stuck up River Coln.
