The Tuesday Night Club on Tour
Tour 2006
2 - Bow Back Rivers Loop, Bow Creek and Thames Tideway to Royal Docks.
Wednesday 4th January 2006 (continued)
After arrival at Limehouse we went along Limehouse Cut, then round Bow Back Rivers non-tidal Loop and arrived back at Bow Locks at 11:15. The other 5 boats of the St Pancras Cruising Club / HNBA convoy soon arrived. We locked out at 14:30 and it was a slow slog down Bow Creek and the Thames Tideway against the last of the flood. We arrived in the dark at King George V lock at 17:00 which was readied, with HMS Grafton and attendant tugs already installed. Slow passage through to and along Royal Albert and Victoria Docks, past the Excel Exhibition Centre. We moored up at the end of Victoria Dock.
